Executive Director- Full time

Responsible for managing the overall operations of the Community, which includes providing an appropriate environment for both residents and employees; establishing and maintaining family relations; meeting financial expectations; adhering to corporate policy and procedures; and upholding the corporate mission, philosophy and values.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Actively participate in and provides leadership for the Community and its staff.
  2. Supervise directly/indirectly all staff in the Community.
  3. Implement programs and services for residents that are developed in tandem with Sr. Director and Corporate staff members.
  4. Ensure Community is in compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Direct the management team to ensure the success of the Community including:
    • Working with residents, family and responsible parties to achieve a high level of satisfaction.
    • Maintaining a positive relationship with the professional community.
    • Facilitating open communication with staff and peers.
    • Maintaining confidentiality of employee and resident records as appropriate.
    • Accountable for all areas of operations meeting all financial and budgetary objectives.
  1. Participate and be accountable for oversight of all marketing and sales activities and results of the Community.
  2. Operate the Community in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures and ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
  3. Ensure that the Business Office Manager completes all required elements of Workers Compensation Program in a timely manner.

Director of Culinary – Full time

The Director of Culinary provides full-scope, hands-on management of the Community’s Culinary Services Department. Responsible for always maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness. Position will successfully manage in a cost-structure environment to meet budgetary goals in area of Culinary Services budget and labor guidelines. This person is a key member of the Community’s management team adhering to policies and procedures and upholding the Community’s and Company’s vision.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive, professional, and upscale culinary services program in order to create and maintain a positive experience for all customers.
  2. Supervise the Culinary Services Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
  3. Research, plan, develop, produce, and serve menu cycle programs that are complaint with required nutritional/dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepares diets provided per policies procedures.
  4. Meet or exceed established budgetary and financial guidelines.
  5. Maintain appropriate records and participate in the research, preparation and writing of the department budget.
  6. Always Exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.

Server – Part time

The Server provides full-scope, hands on serving functions in the community Culinary Services Department. Responsible in always providing superior level of quality service and cleanliness.

Essential Job Functions:

  2. Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times.
  3. Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
  4. Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  5. Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
  6. Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
  7. Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
  8. Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.

Housekeeper – Full time

Responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions in order to maintain an attractive, clean and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Clean offices and common areas including meeting rooms, hallways, reception area, and laundry rooms:
    • Vacuum carpet
    • Mop/sweep tile and other hard surface flooring
    • Dust furniture and lamps
    • Clean mirrors and interior glass surfaces
    • Wipe window blinds
    • Remove cobwebs from light fixtures and wherever else present
    • Clean laundry machines as necessary, including clearing out filters and wiping down inside and outside of machines.
  1. Clean bathrooms:
    • Mop floor
    • Sanitize/clean toilet and sink
    • Add necessary paper supplies (toilet tissue, facial tissues, hand towels)
    • Fill soap and other sanitary item dispensers
    • Wipe mirror
  1. Clean resident apartments when turnovers occur.
  2. Wash 1st floor community windows inside and out as scheduled; at least biannually.
  3. Mop stairways as required (where applicable).
  4. Trash rooms/area:
    • Clean and polish trash chutes (where applicable).
    • Mop/sweep trash room floor
  1. Guest Suite(s):
    • Remove soiled bed and bath linens and replace with fresh linens.
    • Launder all Guest Suite linens (where applicable).
    • Clean bathroom(s)
    • Vacuum carpet and sweep/mop hard surfaces
    • Clean kitchen
    • Restock items that are provided (i.e. coffee, toiletries)
    • Make sure ironing board, iron, hairdryer and other guest conveniences are put away tidily.
  1. Complete and submit maintenance slips as required to address maintenance issues.
  2. Maintain all housekeeping equipment and supplies in proper order.
  3. Perform 30 – 60 day deep cleaning (where applicable).
  4. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
